Round 1: Shaw Nature Reserve Part 2

So it has been way too long since my last update. Especially since I'm already done with project one and got to go home to visit the family and as many people as I could.

Anyway, during the second half the Shaw Nature Reserve project  we managed to set up three CAPping events in the last two weeks! CAP stands for Corps Ambassador Program. Basically we are supposed to try and encourage people to join the program. We set up two tables and had one presentation:

We also went to the Missouri butterfly garden, one afternoon for work and got to see their butterfly house and learn a little bit about butterflys and beetles.

We also volunteered at the St. Louis stray dog rescue!
This is Douglas:

We cut down more honey suckle and privet, and treated it.

We burned more!!!

The next morning was really cold and so every thing froze over night. Since we burned all of the grasses the blades that were survived had cell damage and when the water froze it came out in layers making these "Frost Flowers". Its a semi-rare occurrence. So, we went back out to see them!

Our final group picture with out sponsor, and the awesome staff at Shaw Nature Reserve:
